The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is a action-adventure game developed by Traveller's Tales to The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (video game) - PlayStation Games Peakcoincide with the theatrical release of the motion picture of the same name. The game was announced at E3 2007. The Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PS2, and PS3 versions of the game were released May 15, 2008. The Wii version was released May 27, 2008; the Windows version was released May 31, 2008.

Gameplay

The game features 20 playable characters, of which 4 are available in one level, each with different weapons and abilities. These Include: The Pevensie children, Prince Caspian, Glemstorm, Trumpkin, Dr. Cornelius, Reepicheep, Giant Wimbleweather, and Asterius the Minotuar. In addition to these, several unnamed characters are also playable, including Trees, Fauns, Centaurs, Dwarfs and Minotaurs. Giants, Gryphons and horses can also be controlled after they have been mounted by the player's character. The game features a basic hack & slash style gameplay, with several puzzles that need to be solved to progress through the game and unlock bonus material. Bonus material is, however, primarily unlocked by opening Treasure Chests, which require a certain amount of keys to be opened. The game is spread through six chapters, of which one documents the last battle of the Narnian-Telmarine war. All chapters have a certain number of levels within them, which greatly expands the gameplay. In addition to the aforementioned chapters, four bonus levels can also be unlocked and completed.

Exclusive scenes

Walt Disney Pictures has recorded two exclusive scenes for the game that will not appear in the motion picture. These include a scene where Cornelius tells Caspian about the Narnians and the war, and a scene where Caspian falls into a large crater in the ground, after which ensues his in-game battle with Glozelle.
